Pendapat Aku Tentang Apple iPad

[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCevnzsHN20[/youtube] Okay.. aku rasa seantero rakyat internet tahu yang Steve Jobs dah announce the new product dalam Apple mereka, iaitu iPad. Very much like PC tablet technology, cumanya yang ini adalah keluaran Apple, dan of course ada banyak features dari Apple sendiri. Dari blog TUAW, spec iPad adalah seperti begini:

  • 9.7″ IPS screen
  • 1/2″ thick (or thin)
  • 10 hours of battery life
  • “Shut the iPad down, come back in a month and it still has a charge”
  • 16-64 Gigabytes of flash storage
  • Accelerometer and compass
  • Speaker, mic
  • Dock connector
  • It can run all iPhone apps, unmodified, out of the box

Tapi untuk lihat full spec nya, boleh lihat disini sebernanya. Okay.. enuff tentang spec, aku terbaca lagi satu blogpost dalam TUAW juga tentang apa yang missing, dalam iPad. Sesuatu yang mengecewakan la kalau ko tanya aku. Iaitu..

NO CAMERA
NO MULTITASKING

How’s that? No camera? well i expect if something yang mobilize, bolehlah aku capture moment semasa on the go, mungkin samada untuk Twitter ke atau Facebook, camera is something nice if you got it. Tapi sayang.. memang takde.. atau memang Steve Jobs sengaja buat untuk tak turunkan demand iPhone? Okay.. next is multitasking.. to be honest, aku memang kuat multitasking, dalam ketika aku type blogpost ni sekarang pun, aku ada 8 programs bergerak sekaligus. Why? its convenient.. that’s why to me its really important.

Ada 3 lagi sebernanya TUAW tekankan function yang takde dalam iPad, macam:

  • No notifications. Not a word was said about them. They might be in there, since the iPad clearly runs iPhone apps (and what iPhone app doesn’t notify you these days?) but nothing was demoed.
  • Enhanced multitouch. As far as we can tell, it works the same as the iPhone — no dynamic tactile interface, no pressure sensitive screen, nothing special that we know about yet.
  • No TV content. Of course there’s the iTunes deals, but Apple has apparently been scrambling around to make so DVR deals as well. So far, nothing.

Ada 1 lagi sebernanya, tapi tu pun pasal tiada verizon service, Malaysia bukannya ada pun. So? cemana? aku cuma just share my opinion tentang iPad. I know Apple product is really awesome, tapi this one quite dissapointed laa.. Sorry! Anyway, iPhone dah nak release iPhone 4G edition tak silap aku tahun ni, why iPad still asingkan function W-fi and 3G? Apa akan jadi kepada buyers kalau mereka beli sekarang and let say.. tahun depan mereka release 4G edition cemana?
