Breaking news. Beyonce’s concert in Malaysia has been canceled. According to 3 different sources, “the Maxis Marketing Manager has said that it is cancelled, an an announcement will be made tomorrow.”

My sources are: Two people in Twitter, and one that I know in real life (involved as a sponsor) who spoke on the phone with the Marketing Manager. This seems pretty final.

Honestly, this does not bode well for Malaysia. Although I’m not a big Beyonce fan, she is Beyonce, a top international act – and I would have gladly paid to go. Stuff like this that just keeps happening makes international artistes skip Malaysia as a concert venue to go to Indonesia & Singapore instead. Tourism Malaysia HOWWW. Future of Malaysia HOWWW.

So it is true la then? gonna have to wait for the official news tomorrow.
